THE ARTIST
About Roland
Color, movement, and emotion translated onto canvas.
Roland Calix is a contemporary abstract artist based in South Florida. Originally from Central America, his work is driven by color, movement, texture, and an intuitive approach to composition.
Roland draws inspiration from emotion, nature, music, personal experiences, and the colors and rhythms of everyday life. Each painting is an original work, developed through layers of color and expressive forms that create energy while leaving room for individual interpretation. His work ranges from intimate pieces to large-scale paintings designed to become a focal point within a space.
In addition to his original collection, Roland creates commissioned works tailored to specific dimensions, color palettes, and interiors. His paintings are suited for private residences as well as hospitality, restaurant, office, and other commercial environments.
